COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING

Our COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING PROGRAM is a fundraising vehicle for mountain school clubs, and non-profit/service organizations, made possible through the collaborative efforts of local residents, area businesses, retailers, and MY KOOL FM.

Again, it’s all about our COMMUNITY!  When local businesses do well, we call do well. Our “SHOP LOCAL!  BUY LOCAL!” promotion is the conduit bringing customers and businesses together to help spur economic growth in and around our mountain area.  That’s why MY KOOL FM created this unique fundraiser … for the benefit of our whole community!

So how does it work?  GIFT CERTIFICATES! Gift certificates from local businesses bind the entire program together and makes it all work!

Local businesses participate in two ways:

1. Team up as a SPONSOR by donating monthly gift certificates to our program, in exchange for ad exposure on our website!  There’s no money out-of-pocket, just monthly ads in exchange for gift certificates each month!  Then, when the store gift certificates are brought back to their store to be redeemed, new customers are made and monthly sales increase!  OR
2. Join as an ADVERTISER for a monthly fee, to participate, and, in return, get affordable ad exposure, great public relations, PLUS get local gift certificates as a “Thank You” for showing their community support!  The advertisers may then donate these certificates as they so choose to local charities. No matter how the certificates are used, it’s a way to help promote their business, boost sales with affordable web marketing, and support local service organizations!

Local charities LOVE the gift certificate program! Club members no longer have to go door-to-door soliciting for donations!  Instead the certificates are hand-delivered to them each month to help fund their local projects!  Best of all the organizations can use them in so many ways:  use them as prizes, sell them, combine with other certificates for raffle sales, etc! Plus, our website and community calendar give online exposure to help promote upcoming events!
