Music has always been a part of my life. My radio career started when I was only 14 years old. Being in broadcasting and marketing for over 60+ years, my wife and I have one more project on our “Bucket List” we want to accomplish….to give back to the community for all that it has so generously given us.
We have been truly blessed. This community has given us so much. Its safe, rural –lifestyle and the quality of life has been home to us for 25+ years. Our kids grew up here and went to school here. This is where we work, go to church, where we shop, where we dine out to eat, and where we love to play with our family and friends.
So we created our MY KOOL FM website and its Community Fundraising Program.

SECOND, MY KOOL FM has developed our unique fundraising program for the benefit of the whole community. We encourage everyone to “Shop local! Buy local” with our gift certificate program for local charities and schools. It brings customers and businesses together to spur economic growth for the entire mountain area.

During local emergency situations, you can depend on MY KOOL FM as your one-stop source for up-to-the-minute news (with continuous live assists), emergency alerts, and information specific for our local area to keep you and your loved ones safe.
